Job Description
Our ideal full-time web programmer candidate is creative, energetic, deeply knowledgeable about the latest web technologies, and has a passion for demonstrating skill and precision in his/her work. This is a challenging job that offers the right person an opportunity to contribute to the changing face of web 2.0 technology and online advertising. The Web Programmer works with the creative teams for day-to-day maintenance and enhancements of client websites, web applications, feeds, and banners. As such, this candidate should excel in all components of web development, including: layout, HTML, CSS, and integrating dynamic Flash components into a website. The candidate should be experienced with Flash development and integration with a Content Management System. The candidate for this position is expected to be able to drive the development of a new website or enhancements to the existing sites from prototype, wire frames, comps, or other high-concept documents to a finished product.
Job Requirements
Core competency:
* Working experience in HTML, JavaScript, CSS.
* Perl, PHP, Ruby on Rails.
* Flash and Action Scripting & other Adobe product solutions.
* Linux experience.
* SQL database(s) experience.
* Content Management System experience - Dynamic content publishing.
* Excellent problem solving skills.
Other competencies:
* Ability to understand a dynamic database environment and willingness to learn new technologies.
* Project Management.
* Position includes client contact.
* Strong Communication and Organizational Skills.
* Silverlight and other Microsoft Solutions.
* Daily usage of online communication tools such as Skype, Twitter, IM, social networks, web conferencing, etc.
